The debate class will have its final debate Thursday. The topic will be required military service. Kaylee Burger and Julianne Pettey will debate against Jeremy Thompson and Jacob Sutton.

Every student in the Lower Learning Center has made it to one of the thousands clubs. To celebrate, there will be a pizza party Thursday. The students then will go to the Short Stop for ice cream.

Friday is the last day of school, and the students will participate in field day. Several returning seniors will help run the events. In addition to the usual games and contests, there will be a lost-and-found auction and merit store. The students also will get a chance to throw a pie in a senior's face.

Graduation and the awards ceremony will begin at 7 p.m. Friday. The graduating seniors are Eben Spilman and Daniel Kincaid.

The students going to Arizona for the International Convention will leave Sunday night.

Rebecca Wood and Kelsey Jose won the cleanest desk trophy this week.

Eben Spilman won the Most Interesting Fact contest. His winning fact was that the U.S. government spends more than $50,000 every second.
