Yard sale fundraiser set

The Friendship Mission will hold a yard sale fundraiser from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. today and Saturday at Mile 14.7 of the Kenai Spur Highway. Proceeds will benefit the mission. For more information, call Wayne or Patti Floyd at 776-8143.

Addictions group meets

Reformers Unanimous, a Christ-centered addictions program, meets at 7 p.m. Fridays at the Immanuel Baptist Church. For more information, call 283-9361.

Baha’i classes set

Spiritual education classes for children ages 5 to 7 is held weekly at 10 a.m. Saturdays. A course titled “Reflections on the Life of the Spirit” will be held at the same time for adults and older youth. For location or more information, call 283-6650.

Farewell for Pastor Nichols set

First Baptist Church of Kenai will host a farewell celebration for Pastor Dean Nichols at 10:45 a.m. Sunday at the church. A potluck dinner will be held at noon. It is open to the public.

Matrix Church to meet

The Matrix Church will hold a Mother’s Day service at 4:30 p.m. Sunday in the Triumvirate Theater at the Peninsula Center Mall. The service will feature music, drama and interactive games. Groceries and gas cards also will be given away. For more information, call 262-7416.

Kenai Aglow meeting slated

Kenai Aglow will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at The Salvation Army Chapel, 201 N. Forest Drive in Kenai. The topic will be “While in the process, lean on Jesus.”

Clothes available

Clothes Quarters is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays. It is in the back of the parking lot of Our Lady of the Angels Church, 225 S. Spruce St. in Kenai.

Soldotna Aglow to meet

Soldotna Day Aglow meetings Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to noon at Peninsula Christian Center. It is located behind The Salvation Army. Baby-sitting is provided.
