This vehicle wound up in a marsh near mile 55 of the Sterling Highway on Monday evening after the driver swerved to avoid collision with a truck, according to Alaska State Troopers. No one was hurt in the crash, and the vehicle incurred minor damage. William Hightower, of Sterling, was driving back from Anchorage when he spotted the scene. "There was no water inside the car, and he was on his cell phone," Hightower said of the driver. "The guy was perfectly calm, just sitting in there."
