The Nikiski Freestyle Wrestling Club participated in the State Championship Freestyle Tournament on April 30 and May 1. Nikiski Freestyle finished fourth as a team, earning 26 medals and had 41 participants. The tournament had 820 wrestlers competing from around the state. The results follow:

Homer soccer split with visiting Ketchikan on Wednesday. Homer's boys won 2-1 while the Kings defeated the Mariners in the girls game.
