Featured artists plan to visit

"Alaska 2000: A Celebration of Wildlife Art" can be seen through July at the Kenai Visitors and Cultural Center at 11471 Kenai Spur Highway.

Some original paintings on exhibit are for sale; limited edition prints also are available at the center. Profits from the exhibition will go into a scholarship fund for Kenai Peninsula College.

Several featured artists will visit Kenai to give presentations about their work during the show. Lindsey Foggett will arrive later this month; Rod Frederick plans to visit in June. Jon Van Zyle and Gail Niebrugge also plan to visit, said guest curator David Wartinbee. The schedules will be announced later.

Admission is $3 for adults and free for students through high school. For more information, call the Kenai Visitors and Convention Bureau at 283-1991.
