Summer Reading Program "Laugh It Up at Your Library." This year's dog- and humor-related theme will feature dog stories in addition to jokes and riddles.
Participants will receive a book bag, reading record and sticker. There will be crafts, stories and great door prizes.
The Monday program is for school-aged children, but the Summer Reading Program is open to all ages.
Dates: Registration begins May 27. The program runs Mondays from June 2 through July 7, except for June 23.

There will be silly stories, jokes, games and humor of all kinds in the books, music and other materials at the Soldotna Public Library.
The 2003 Summer Reading Program, "Laugh It Up at Your Library" is open to young people preschool age through young adult with programs, prize drawings, games, story times, contests, a reading club and more.

Open to students who will be in kindergarten or first grade in the fall of 2003
Dates: Monday through Thursday, June 2-19
Hours: Two sessions: 9 to 10:30 a.m. or 10:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
