Businesses, KCHS staff make work experience program possible

Posted: Wednesday, May 14, 2003

The students and coordinators of the Kenai Central High School Work Experience program would like to thank the community businesses and the administration of KCHS for their support in the 2002-03 year. Without the involvement of our local companies, we would not have a works program at the high school. We cannot thank these employers enough for their time and efforts in training our students for entering the work place.

Mr. Dunn and Mr. Fields, our counseling staff and many faculty members contribute countless hours to preparing our young people for tomorrow's job market.

Businesses that welcomed us this year included Tarma's Grooming, Penny Gene's Cuts, Forget-Me-Not Care Center, Kenaitze Head Start, Kenai Municipal Airport and the Kenai Airport Maintenance Facility, Kenai Senior Citizens Center, Mountain View Elementary, Kenai Chamber of Commerce, Arby's Restaurant, Peninsula Clarion, Kenai Co-op Preschool, Sears Elementary, Carr's Video, Carr's Floral, Three Bears and the KCHS front office, custodial staff, kitchen and theater.

Again, thank you.
