Fifth-grade Excellent Eagles will go to H2Oasis today for their celebration.
Mrs. Jackson's camping trip to Hidden Lake will be Thursday and Friday.
Mrs. Gustkey and Mrs. Wannamaker's classes will go biking this week.
Mrs. Steward and Mr. Daniels' classes will go to Homer to check out the tide pools Friday.
Mr. and Mrs. Wensley's classes will visit the Kenai Recreation Center on Friday. The classes also will go to the musk ox farm and H2Oasis on Monday.
The fifth-grade mini-courses will be Monday and May 21 in the afternoon.
Mrs. Stephen's campout to Hidden Lake will be Tuesday and May 21.
Field days will be from 1 to 3 p.m. as follows: third grade, Monday; fifth-grade Tuesday; and fourth-grade, May 21. Volunteers are needed. To help, call 283-6148.
The PTA will sponsor an all-school picnic May 22.
Next year's class lists will be posted May 30.
Remember there will be no hot lunch service after Thursday. Students should bring sack lunches to school Friday through May 21.
The Future Problem Solving fund-raiser raffle tickets are available through May 22. More than 50 prizes worth over $1,000 in total value will be raffled off. Tickets are available from fifth-grade team members (Maya Johnson, Taylor Matson, Averee Amend and Quinn Sawyer) or by leaving a message for Mr. Bailey at the office at 283-6148.
Mrs. Heath's third-graders had a wonderful time spending the night at the Alaska SeaLife Center in Seward. Students not only had a chance to explore the whole center, but also learned a lot in their classes about tide pool animals and bioluminescence.
