Cook Inlet Academy

High school graduation will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in the gym.

There will be no school Tuesday due to in-Service.

The retirement celebration for Chuck Crapuchettes will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the gym.

The last awards chapel will be May 21.

Students of the week were Kiana Beddow, for excellence in school work; Hannah Selden, for always having a happy heart; Danielle Rehm, for improvement in written expression; Haley Miller, for excellence in math and reading; Molly Fenton, for great work habits; and Steven Webb, for an incredible art project.

Mr. Vavilov is offering summer math courses for pre-algebra, algebra I and geometry for $250 per person. Tutoring also will be available for $10 per hour. Sessions will be from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. May 26 through June 6 and June 16 through 27. All courses will be held at CIA, and high school students can earn a half credit. Registration is due by May 23.

The Soldotna Library is offering summer reading programs for preschoolers through high schoolers called Laugh It Up at Your Library. Awards and prizes will be given. For more information call 262-4227. Registration begins May 31.

Secondary and Hershey's Track and Field results should be available next week.
