Preschoolers had a fun-filled field trip to the Kenai Visitors and Cultural Center. They enjoyed looking at and inspecting the animals in the wildlife paintings and the taxidermied animals, including the mother and baby beluga whales. A big hit was the huge snarly fishing lure snag found in the Kenai River.
Preschoolers also treated their mothers to a very elegant Mother's Day Tea. Children had worked hard to prepare songs, decorations, a preschooler recipe book, a handmade pottery ornament and fun facts to share about their moms. Refreshments were delicious. All moms felt very loved.
