ANCHORAGE (AP) -- Two women were arrested Saturday on charges of smuggling about $300,000 worth of cocaine on a flight to Anchorage.
Teresa Angel Barreto, 21, of San Bernadino, Calif. and Adriana Delgado-Lopez, 34, of Hermosillo, Mexico were arrested after arriving on a flight from Los Angeles.
Officers with the airport drug interdiction detail seized 1.5 kilograms of cocaine from each of the women.
Barreto and Delgado-Lopez were being held at the state jail annex in lieu of bail.
