Kudos to Mr. Robertia for outlining some very salient points having to do with the ultimate outcome of the war with Iraq as well as shedding light on some of the reasons our government chose to engage in this war in the first place.
I, too, am an American. I support our men and women in the services. I appreciate that I live in a country where my right to critically analyze and speak my piece about the choices and decisions of the government is protected. I am disheartened by the number of letters I see that would silence those who do not hold the supposed majority point of view. I am frustrated by anyone who believes it is acceptable to throw water on dissenters.
I believe that most of the individuals serving in the military do so in support of freedom. That freedom includes the opportunity to voice a different perspective, opinion or vision of events as they unfold. Thank you, Mr. Robertia.
