A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 12, in Soldotna.
She was born July 22, 1935, and raised in Cambridge, Mass. She met Sam Best while they attended Colorado College in Colorado, where they later married. In 1958, they moved to Cooper Landing. During their 27 years of marriage, they raised six children.
