Glenn and Patsy Clifford of Kenai will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, May 22, 2004, in an evening ceremony at the Kenai Senior Citizens Center.
The couple met in junior high school and graduated from Bell Gardens junior-senior High School in California in 1954. They were married May 22, 1954, in California and moved to Alaska in 1975. They have four children, 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Glenn worked for Unocal for 22 years in Cook Inlet. He bowls and took first place in a cribbage tournament for 2003-04. He is on the steering committee for Unocal retirees and is an apartment manager. He volunteers at the Kenai senior center.

Patsy enjoys ceramics, doll making, quilting, line dancing, gardening, volunteering for the Kenai senior center and being the vice queen for the Red Hat Society.
Music for the anniversary reception will be provided by Bull Don and the Moose Nuggets and soloist Vickie Wonsor. The Golden Swinging Girls will perform a dance.
