ANCHORAGE (AP) -- An Anchorage man was arrested for allegedly stabbing a 17-year-old girl, police said Wednesday.
Mark Hanna, 42, was charged with assault. He was being held at the Cook Inlet Pre-trial Facility on $25,000 bail.
Hanna told police he had met the girl several weeks ago in a bar and invited her to his apartment Tuesday for a massage.
Several witnesses said they saw the girl running from Hanna's home and she was covered in blood. She got inside a waiting car and was taken to the Alaska Native Medical Center where she was treated for knife wounds to her neck and hands.
Police found Hanna hiding inside a storage shed near his apartment. He had scratch marks on his face, neck and arms.
