Store's community spirit helps school project happen
Sterling Elementary has had such a wonderful year. Many thanks go out to everyone who has had a part in making things happen. I'd like especially to thank Big Kmart for their generous donation to our Teddy Bear Penny Drive. Not only was their staff very helpful in assisting us with a huge selection of toy stuffed animals to choose from, but they also provided us with a wonderful discount opportunity to make the funds stretch even further. We were able to supply our local fire department with a wide assortment of cuddly stuffed animals for children in need of comfort during times of personal crisis and tragedy due to fires, accidents, etc. We are proud of the community spirit exhibited by such local merchants.
Lynn Lund, PTA President Sterling Elementary School
