FUN PLUS After the Bell

Description: The Soldotna After the Bell Boys and Girls Club will run a summer program with the theme "The Spirit of Soldotna." Morning and afternoon mini-courses are scheduled to balance recreation and education with lots of fun. Mini-course topics include sign language, foreign language, reading camp, music and drama, arts and crafts, astronomy, scrapbooking, gardening, cooking, baton twirling, team sports and hiking. Space is limited.

Ages: For students who have completed first through eighth grades.

Dates: June 10-Aug. 8.

Hours: 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Cost: $100 per child per monthly session, plus a Boys and Girls Club membership ($20 per calendar year). Maximum fee of two children per family per session. Scholarships are available.

Location: Soldotna Elementary School.
