Band Camp

Description: There will be a band camp taught by Kent Peterson, band director for Skyview High, K-Beach Elementary and Sterling Elementary schools, and Tammy Vollom-Matturo, an elementary music and band instructor for the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District. High school students will work with the younger students. The camp will end with a 4 p.m. concert and family picnic on June 6.

Ages: For students who have finished fifth and sixth grade this school year.

Dates: June 3-6.

Hours: 1 to 4 p.m.

Cost: $60, payable with mail-in registration form by May 17 to "Soldotna Community Schools." Fund-ing is provided, in part, by the After the Bell 21st Century Learning Center Grant Program.
