Praise about 'Carmina Burana' performance keeps coming

Posted: Monday, May 17, 2004

It is several weeks since "Carmina Burana" was performed on the the peninsula as a collaborative effort of the Kenai Peninsula Orchestra, Homer High School Choir and the adult Community Chorus. Even now hardly a day goes without someone or two raving about this event. They tell me how great the music was, how important it is to have intergenerationalprojects like this one, or how meaningful it was to have participated as a singer or musician. Events like this could not take place without major sponsors. Thank you Unocal Oil and Gas Company and Homer Foundation for funding the arts. You improve the quality of life on the peninsula.
