Cancer victim's friend grateful for support

Posted: Tuesday, May 17, 2005

I have read the article about Colleen Puch and her fight against cancer so many times.

Colleen and I have been best friends since first grade. We lived in Ohio less than a mile from each other on a country road.

We have shared so many things in our lives and when she got the cancer, she called me because she did not want me to read it on an e-mail. That is the kind of caring person Colleen is. I know how strong her spirit is and how that spirit can pull friends into her circle.

I'd like to thank Tanny and all the bus driver friends for their support and love they have given to Colleen. I am so glad that they make her sit down and let people help her because I also know how stubborn she can be!

Colleen is always in my prayers and now so are her friends. A big "thank y'all" from a friend in Georgia.
