Poet’s Corner: Spring Haiku collection

Posted: Thursday, May 17, 2007

sun is chasing moon

like a dog chasing its tail

spring dawns earlier

just like a lover

spring winds are warm and gentle

quite often fickle

hope brought by the sun

stripping away the ice crust

finding grass beneath

broken promises

curling inward from the bite

unexpected frost

willow buds appear

winter’s death grip slips away

life is poised to strike
