FAIRBANKS (AP) Nonstop flights will be offered from Fairbanks to Maui this coming winter, Anchorage-based Hawaiian Vacations announced Friday.
Flights will start Dec. 21 and run until spring break time, he company said.
Hawaiian has contracted with New York-based North American Airlines to offer the flights, one each way every week. The company will use a Boeing 757 that holds 202 passengers.
The flights will leave Fairbanks at 2:15 a.m. on Sundays. Passengers will arrive back in the Interior city at 11:55 p.m. on Saturdays.
