There will be an extra violin practice today from 4 to 5 p.m. to help prepare for the spring performance. The performance and graduation ceremony will be at the Soldotna Sports Center at 4 p.m. Sunday, followed by a potluck dinner.

Last week the students learned about Native art during a field trip to the Kenai Visitors and Cultural Center to see the "Native Art Now" exhibit.

Rachel will return Thursday from attending the Early Childhood Literacy Summit in Anchorage.

The students will take a field trip to the Kenai Wildlife Refuge Visitors Center on May 25. All students need to bring a sack lunch.

May 27 is the last day of the 2004-05 session. All parents and siblings are invited to attend an ice cream party at the school from 3 to 4 p.m.

School will close at 4 p.m. May 27 and reopen for its summer session May 31.

The deadline for submitting photos for this year's yearbook is May 27. The yearbooks should be available to be picked up on July 1.
