Sears Elementary

The annual kindergarten concert is Thursday for Mrs. Thomas and Mrs. Anderson's classes and Friday for Ms. Fischer, Mrs. Bryson, and Mrs. Atkinson's classes at 1:45 p.m. each day.

The first- and second-graders will learn bike safety with Officer Kelly George on Monday, followed by a bike rodeo on Tuesday.

The all-school picnic is May 25.

Thanks to all the parents who helped with the school carnival. The funds raised will be used to pay for the end-of-the-year field trips.

The school will hold an artist reception for students creating with artist in residence, Shala Dobson from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday. The public is invited to a showing showing of student poetry and painting projects and visit with Dobson who has been working with Sears and Kaleidoscope students and teachers for the past two weeks.

Teacher request forms for next year are available at the office. These are due back to the office by May 25.
