Soldotna Middle

Posted: Wednesday, May 18, 2005

Thanks to "Tall Steve" Dahl who came to the school and told tall tales to Ms. McIndoe's social studies classes. The classes have been writing tall tales in conjunction with their early American history unit. The stories were told in the oral tradition as they originally were shared.

Pizza will be sold by Ms. Cannava's classes at $1.50 per slice or $10 per pizza Friday, Monday, Tuesday and May 25.

Eighth-grade students will visit their respective high schools from 7:45 to 9:30 Friday.

Report cards will be mailed June 1 unless there are outstanding fees. Students who still owe class fees should get those paid before the end of the year. A letter from the office will be sent to parents as a reminder. For the eighth-graders, these fees carry over to the high schools so it's important to take care of them now so registration into high school next year goes smoothly.
