Patrick M. Maltby died Thursday, May 12, 2011, at the Atlantic Healthcare Center, in Vero Beach, Fla. He was 71.
Mr. Maltby was born June 5, 1939, in Marion, Ind., to Jack and Delight Maltby. Mr. Maltby Served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.
He married his wife, Judith, on Sept. 1, 1973, in Indianapolis. The couple moved to Sebastian, Fla., in 1976.
He worked for Piper Aircraft for 26 years in Vero Beach. He also attended St. Sebastian Catholic Church and was a 4th Degree Knight.
Mr. Maltby was preceded in death by his wife, his parents and brothers Jim, Mike and Steve.
He is survived by his son Shawn, his wife Alicia and their sons Dylan, Carson, Trevor and Trey, all of Kenai; son Michael, his wife Kathleen and their sons Hayden and Ethan, of Perkasie, Pa; brother Tom Maltby, of Richmond, Va.; sister Ann Davis, of Carmel, Ind.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
His ashes will be laid to rest at a later date in a private family ceremony.
