The school picnic is the last day of school, May 27. Students need to bring $2 for the picnic. Parents wishing to attend should send their name and $2 to school in an envelope.
Volunteers are needed to help with field day, Project Reward, the school picnic and a special activity day Monday. Parents available to help are asked to contact the school office at 262-9006.
Congratulations to Redoubt's fastest cashiers in the west, Tyler Brown, Andrew Childers, Kevin Michaelson and Kati Morril.
The school has adopted the soccer field and plans to improve its condition. Donations of grass seed, fertilizer and lime would be appreciated. Individuals interested in helping with this project should contact Mr. Syverson.
The school is accepting monetary donations for its new computer lab. Six computers remain to be purchased at a cost of approximately $1,000 each.
The last day for After the Bell is Thursday. The ATB staff thanks everyone for a great school year.
Redoubt's fifth- and sixth-grade students will perform from 6 to 6:45 p.m. Thursday in the Redoubt gym.
Fourth-quarter Project Reward activities will be Tuesday. Qualifying students will receive certificates in the areas of attendance, academics and citizenship. Students qualifying in all three areas will attend a movie.
End-of-school activities also include field day and sport spirit day May 26. Students are reminded to wear athletic-type clothing and to dress for the weather. Field day activities will be outdoors for grades four through six from 9 to 11 a.m., for grades one through three from 12:30 to 2:15 p.m., and for kindergartners from 12:30 to 2 p.m.
Award assemblies will be held at May 27. First- through third-graders will be honored at 9 a.m. and fourth- through sixth-graders at 10 a.m.
A limited number of yearbooks are for sale in the school office for $15.
