Congratulations to the Class of 2004, which graduated Sunday afternoon. These students worked hard to achieve this honor and have left behind many memories throughout their time at CIA.

The National Honor Society bestowed several honors at the annual awards banquet last week. Laurel Kytonen was chosen Staff Member of the Year, and Charlotte Hillyer was awarded the Student of the Year. New members inducted into the National Honor Society were Ryan Fowler, Hannah Thornton and Janet Cooper.

Students of the Week are Brady Hanson, for being a great worker; Riley Smithwick, for being an awesome friend; Mac Wynkoop, for incredible art work; and Reid Schmelzenbach, for great behavior throughout the year.

Preschool graduation is Thursday at 7 p.m. at Peninsula Grace Brethren Church.

The next school board meeting is at 7 p.m. June 1.

The girls' high school basketball teams are having a garage sale June 3 to 5. Parents and staff are encouraged to provide items for the sale. All purchases are tax deductible. For more information, call Pixie Smith at 262-7552.
