Support helps students in transition

Posted: Wednesday, May 19, 2010

On behalf of the Kenai Peninsula Borough School District's Students in Transition Program, I would like to recognize those who have given so kindly to the homeless students in our community throughout this school year:

Alaska Bikers Advocating Training and Education (ABATE) of the Kenai Peninsula, the Kenai Women's Golf Group, the Kenai Borough Employees Association/Borough employees, Peninsula Community Health Services, Peninsula Grace Brethren Church, and Delta Kappa Gamma. Your time, compassion and generosity truly improve the quality of life for these children and youth.

With a heartfelt and sincere "thank you,"

Kelly King

Central Peninsula Homeless Liaison, KPBSD
