The Alaska Center for the Environment, the Sierra Club Alaska Chapter and the Anchorage Audubon Society will celebrate the trails of the Chugach National Forest with a hike on the Resurrection Pass Trail to Juneau Falls on National Trails Day, June 5.
Hikers will meet at 10 a.m. at the trail head on the Sterling Highway near Cooper Landing. Participants also will learn about living in harmony with bears as well as the Sterling Highway by-pass project. Hikers should bring lunch, water and appropriate attire.
