Study takes summer vacation

Bible study classes that were being conducted by Lee Scaggs at the Sterling Senior Center have been suspended for the summer. They are slated to resume in September.

Children to perform Sunday

First- through sixth-grade children of Lighthouse Community Church formerly North Kenai Baptist will perform a play at 6 p.m. Sunday called "Splash Kingdom."

People are invited to bring their families. The church is at Mile 25 of the Kenai Spur Highway.

'Destiny' coming to North Kenai

"Destiny," the music ensemble of Multnomah Bible College in Portland, Ore., invites all to a free concert of worship, praise and drama at Lighthouse Community Church at 7 p.m. May 28.

Directed by Mark Wyatt, the ensemble performs a blend of contemporary and gospel music with meaningful skits.

Church conducts Bible school

The Nikiski Church of Christ will conduct its vacation Bible school for all ages from 9:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. June 2 through 4.

The church is at Mile 24.5 of the Spur Highway. Refreshments and all materials will be provided free. All are invited.

Vacation Bible school slated

The Kenai First Baptist Church will present its vacation Bible school, titled "Rickshaw Rally Racing to the Son," from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., June 7 to 11.

Children from 4 years old to sixth grade may attend.

Construction INC plans Bible school

Construction INC In the Name of Christ is planning a vacation Bible school for children ages 3 and up at Star of the North Lutheran Church, 216 N. Forest Drive in Kenai from 9 a.m. to noon June 7 to 11.

School will include crafts, games, music, drama and a snack.

Clothes2Go open

The Inlet Faith formerly Aurora Heights Assembly of God Clothes2Go is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays to meet people's clothing needs.

Clothes2Go is at the church on the corner of McGahan and Marie avenues, near Mile 27 of the Spur Highway in Nikiski. For more information, call 776-8723.
