A bird is simple, yet complex,
so much more than one expects.
They are proof God had a plan,
when life on Earth first began.
Watching a bird build its nest,
I am both awed and impressed.
Every twig, each branch and stick,
appears not be a random pick.
With tender care to their offspring,
and guarded by protective wing,
they nurture, feed and teach to fly
when it's time to take the sky.
To view this gentleness of flight
brings admiration and delight.
Pleasant chords of chirping made,
sounds similar to a serenade.
I choose to never miss a note;
it could be a song our God wrote,
and now preformed in melody
thru His great love and majesty?
Each Spring the cycle will restart
like the beauty of amazing art,
soft and elegant for our pleasure,
a gorgeous and majestic treasure.
