Berry growers ripe to meet

The Alaska Berry Growers will meet at 4 p.m. today at the Cook Inlet Aquaculture Building. It will be the last opportunity to order cuttings and plants for the season. For more information, call Jack Brown at 283-3700.

Drug coalition meeting planned

The Community Action Coalition will meet at 4 p.m. today in the Soldotna High School library. The topics will be an overview of the prevention needs assessment survey, and Matt Dammeyer will discuss the Strengthening Families Program. It is open to the public. Shakespeare play held over

The “Complete Works of William Shakespeare, Abridged,” put on by Triumvirate Theatre in the Peninsula Center Mall in Soldotna, has been held over for one more show at 7 p.m. Monday.

CPGH board meeting slated

Breakfast fundraiser set to flip

A benefit breakfast fundraiser will be held from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the Ninilchik fair grounds. Pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage and more will be served. The cost of admission is $9 for adults, $5 for children ages 6 to 12 and children under 5 get in free.

Chili feed, auction planned

The Sterling Senior Center will host a chili feed and silent auction from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the center. Proceeds will benefit the American Cancer Society.
