Photo feature: Baby steps

A moose calf, just hours old and still wobbly on its long legs, nuzzles it's mother in a clearing in Kenai Monday afternoon. A twin sibling (not pictured) was resting in the grass nearby. Wildlife workers are reminding dog owners to keep their animals restrained for at least the next few weeks as the moose and caribou give birth to their young.
