Many active organizations help make peninsula safer place to live

Posted: Friday, May 23, 2003

A huge thanks to those who volunteered their time and energy to make the annual Soldotna Safety Day one of the best ever! Many hands make light labor.

Special thanks to Fred Meyer for allowing us to use its parking lot and store space. Thanks to all the entries for the coloring contest and to the judges who had the difficult time in choosing only three winners.

Our community is the biggest winner of all. We have so many active organizations concerned about safety issues facing us daily. Thank you again.
