Lifelong Soldotna resident Amber Lynn Zuck died Saturday, May 19, 2007, from injuries sustained in a vehicle accident near Sterling. She was 22.

A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, May 25, 2007, at Peninsula Memorial Chapel’s Soldotna Chapel at 35910 Jawle St. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 26 at the Star of the North Lutheran Church, 216 North Forest Drive, in Kenai. Pastor Richard F. Wagner will officiate. A gathering will immediately follow the services at the church. Pallbearers will include Justin Edelman, Justin Rainwater, Craig Schmunk, Logan McKay, Jesse Kelly and Gabe Vanek. Honorary pallbearer will be Ryan Cowie.

Miss Zuck was born Feb. 19, 1985, in Anchorage. She graduated from Skyview High School in 2003 and from AVTEC Technical College with a certificate in business and office technology in May of 2007.

“She was her daddy’s little girl and grew up to be a beautiful woman who would light up the room with her smile. She could always be counted on to lend a helping hand to a friend in need and she blessed us all with her charm, her style and her enthusiasm for life. She will always have a special place in our hearts and minds. Amber was a dancer and loved to read. She was at home in the outdoors and was an avid snowboarder,” said her family.

Miss Zuck was preceded in death by her grandfather, Edwin Zuck; and cousin Joshua Albers.

She is survived by her father and mother, Walter and Brenda Zuck of Soldotna; brother Robby Zuck of Anchorage; grandparents Bob and Barb Bokovoy of Kenai; Marion Zuck of Minot, N.D.; uncles and aunts, Troy Bokovoy, and Kim Bokovoy of Kenai, George Cowie of Anchorage, Martin and Loris Zuck, Joe Zuck, Edwin and Debbie Zuck , Neal and Michelle Zuck, Leslie and Julie Zuck, Darren Zuck, Wanda Zuck, Judy and Frank Banning and Bonita Zuck of Minot; and numerous cousins.
