Former Kenai resident Joshua T. Vincent (McKibbon) died Wednesday, May 16, 2007, in Oregon. He was 29.
Mr. Vincent was born Sept. 30, 1977, in Hibbing, Minn. He grew up in Kenai. He also lived in California and Oregon.
“Josh enjoyed snowboarding, snowmobiling in the Caribou Hills, BMX bikes, watching old ‘B’ horror films, fishing the Kenai, campfires and barbecuing with his friends at the lake. Josh was a very talented sketching artist. He was video game tester for Atari, Manco and EA Sports. His dream job was to be a graphic designer for one of those. He loved to play jokes on his friends for a good laugh,” his family said. “Josh was thoughtful and caring of others and his mother would always give in to his big blue eyes. Josh will be missed by many. Rest in peace, Josh. We love you.”
Mr. Vincent was preceded in death by his grandmother, Doris Taylor of Hibbing; and grandfather, Earl McKibbon of Virginia.
He is survived by his parents, Earl and Dawn McKibbon of Kenai; brother, Patrick McKibbon of Anchorage; daughter, Lillian Milham, 9, of Hawaii; son, Seth Vincent, 3, of California; grandfathers, Robert Taylor of Hibbing and Warren Vincent of Moline, Ill.; grandmother, Shirley McKibbon of Virginia; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Arrangements were made by Pearl Funeral Home in Medford, Ore.
