Daniel F. Dudley of Billings, Mont., died, Wednesday, May 16, 2007, with his wife and sister at his side. He was 57.
Mr. Dudley was born to the late Gene Dudley and Donna Arnold in San Jose, Calif. He spent the majority of his life in Napa, Calif. He retired four years ago from Villa Mt. Eden-Conn Creek Winery where he worked as the cellar master for many years.
He traveled to the Kenai Peninsula many times to visit his sister.
“He marveled at our winter lifestyle and upon his first winter visit, got to experience New Year’s Eve Caribou Hills style,” his family said.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Hayford of Billings; step-daughter, Maggi Hayford of Billings; sons, Damon Dudley, and his wife, Shelley of Rohnert Park, Calif., and Jason Dudley and his wife, Heidi, of Dixon, Calif.; sister, Rebecca Davis and her husband, Larry, of Soldotna; grandsons, Chance and Chandler of Rohnert Park and AJ of Dixon; nieces, Michelle Burnett of Nikiski and Heather Bross of Colorado Springs, Colo.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made in Mr. Dudley’s name to Rocky Mountain Hospice, 2110 Overland Ave., Suite 111, Billings, MT. 59102.
