Garage sale fundraiser set

Sterling Head Start will hold a yard sale fundraiser from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at the school.

Relay members ready to bank it

Relay For Life bank nights will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at Wells Fargo Bank in Soldotna. Team captains and co-captains may bring in money collected and participant forms. Captains also may pick up T-shirts. Survivor shirts will be available June 2. For more information, call Penny at 260-8031.

Public comment on whales, water sought

The Environmental Protection Agency will take comments on its draft Clean Water Act permit for oil and gas pollution discharge in Cook Inlet and the National Marine Fisheries Service will take comments on whether to list the Cook Inlet Beluga whale under the Endangered Species Act until Wednesday. Organ transplant support group to meet

The Transplant Recipient Resource Group will meet from 1 to 2 p.m. June 8 at Bridges Community Resource Network.
