The staff would like to thank artist in residence Natasha Ala-Johnson for her three-week residence at the school. Thanks also to librarian Laurie Cowgill for all the work she put into writing the grant to make it possible.
The school still is taking registration forms for kindergartners for the 2004-05 school year. Packets are available in the school office until June 4 and again beginning in August.
The school thanks the following people for their help with the school carnival: Parents, staff members, volunteers, Airgas of Kenai, McDonald's, Pizza Boys, Blockbuster of Kenai, The Video Place, IGA Country Foods and Coca Cola for their generous donations. Also, thanks to Body, Mind and Spirit, Doug Sears and the Hyatt Corporation for their donations for the raffle, and "raffle queens" Nicole Shelden and Kelli Stroh. The proceeds will be used for field trips and special projects for all students.
New student registration for the 2004-05 school year will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Aug. 16 and 17.
The staff thanks everyone for a great school year.
