Tustumena Elementary

The staff and students thank Homer Electric for once again sending a bucket truck for the annual "Egg Drop" for Mrs. Knobf's and Mr. Records' classes last Friday. The weather cooperated and the engineering by the students continues to improve with each passing year.

Thanks also to Jim Schultz, owner of Godfather's Pizza in Soldotna, for handling the pizza order last Friday. Despite receiving an extraordinarily large order for delivered pizzas by noon that day, the order arrived on time and still hot.

Parents are encouraged to join their students for the final day of school Thursday. Adult assistance still is needed for many of the outdoor activities, as well as preparing the lunch at noon.

Families are advised that missing clothing or personal materials may be retrieved at the school through June 4.

The school staff wishes all its students and families a fun and relaxing summer vacation.
