Area chambers set schedules

Dan Withrich with ASRC Energy Services will speak at noon today at the Nikiski Chamber of Commerce luncheon at Ohana's Family Restaurant.

The Kenai, Soldotna and Nikiski chambers and the Alliance will hold a joint legislative update and luncheon with Reps. Kurt Olson, R-Soldotna, and Mike Chenault, R-Nikiski, and Sen. Tom Wagoner, R-Kenai, at noon Tuesday at the Soldotna Sports Center, 538 Arena Ave.

Fish quality training to be held

Fishers' quality training for the Kenai Wild program will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday at the Cook Inlet Aquaculture building, 40610 Kalifornsky Beach Road.

The training is free, but attendees should be salmon fishers with area H permits.

Business counseling available

A procurement technical assistance counselor will visit the Kenai and Soldotna area June 14. Time slots are available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
