All geared up for summer

Anglers at Crooked Creek State Recreation Area reported slow fishing Saturday.

The three-day weekend marks the unofficial start of summer, as anglers from all over made their annual pilgrimage to the peninsula for king salmon openers on Deep Creek and the Ninilchik and Anchor rivers.
