Police say Anchorage man may have been murdered

ANCHORAGE (AP) -- A man's body was found Sunday morning near an East Anchorage restaurant, and the case is being investigated as a homicide because of a head injury the man suffered, according to Anchorage police.

So far, they have not identified the man, an Alaska Native in his late 40s and possibly homeless.

His body was found about 7:30 a.m. in a wooded area near the restaurant.
