Heather McIntyre

The daughter of Timothy and Sandra McIntyre, Heather moved to Kenai from Buffalo, Wyo., during her freshman year of high school. At KCHS, she played soccer and volleyball and was a member of student council, National Honor Society and Rotary Interact Club. Next fall, she plans to attend the University of Alaska An-chorage to major in elementary education with an emphasis on physical education and mathematics. During her sophomore year of college, she hopes to participate in a study abroad experience in Greece, Scotland or Canada.

Amy said she thought a review of her high school career would find few accomplishments. The evidence, however, proves to the contrary. She has participated in Mock Trial, Young Marines, Hamlet and hours of tutoring, doing a bit more than "nothing." She plans to attend college at the University of Alaska Fairbanks, where she will major in biochemistry. She hasn't decided on a career plan, but is considering the military as an option. She said nothing will pry her away from Alaska for long, though.
