Volunteers help meet run smoothly

The annual Hershey Track & Field Meet sponsored by North Peninsula Recreation Service Area was once again a huge success. On May 17, approximately 250 participants from local areas came to compete in both running and field events at Nikiski High School. The success of the meet relies heavily on volunteer support, and this year's volunteers did a great job.

Kudos to all these volunteers who generously contributed their time: Marion Nickelson, Albert Parra, Chris Pepper, Jeff Lettington, Donna Rooper, Vanessa Gabel, Shanette Wik, Rick Nunez, Loretta Eaton, Tom and Denaya DeVolld, Karen Calderwood, Beth Jones, Angela Doty, Sheri Jackson, Stacey Griffel, Ruby Jackson, Linda Spotts, Stephen Noble, Cody McLaury, Tina Knutson and Amy O'Dell. Volunteers are the backbone of our program.
