Twins open season today
The American Legion Post 20 Twins begin their 2009 summer campaign today with a doubleheader against Bartlett.
The first game of the twinbill begins at 12:30 p.m. at Coral Seymour Memorial Park, the home of the Alaska Baseball League's Peninsula Oilers.
Mini basketball camp to be held at SoHi
For athletes wishing to prepare for the Alaska Basketball Academy in Valdez, there will be a short mini-camp held at Soldotna High School from June 2-5 from 3 to 4:30 p.m. For more information, contact Soldotna boys coach Matt Johnson at mjohnson2@kpbsd.k12.ak.us.
