PALMER (AP) -- A Sutton man thought to be missing in the Jonesville Mine area while hiking has been found at his home, Alaska State Troopers said Monday.
Lloyd Shaginoff, 56, was found Monday in his bed.
Shaginoff went walking with friends near the abandoned coal mine on Sunday, troopers said.
Shaginoff and his friends separated on the roadway at about 6 p.m. after making plans to meet up later.
When he failed to turn up by 9 p.m., the friends started looking for him and later called troopers.
The trooper search eventually led to Shaginoff's home, where he was discovered.
