Fern Dutton

Former Alaska resident Fern Dutton died Wednesday, May 10, 2006, in Sequim, Wash. She was 68.

Services were held Saturday, May 13, at Dungeness Community Church in Washington.

Mrs. Dutton was born July 5, 1936, in Ellenwood, Kan., to E.A. and Lovina Chadwick.

She married Jackie Lee Dutton on Oct. 25, 1955. She lived in Alaska for many years before moving to Sequim.

“She loved to spend time with family and friends and spent many hours in prayer for her family,” her family said.

She is survived by her husband; sons, Lynn Dutton of Sterling and Billie Dutton of Alaska; daughter, Jacque Husbey of Alaska; mother; sister, Betty Harris of New Mexico;11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Arrangements were made by Neptune Society in Lindwood, Wash.
