Chambers set schedules

· The Soldotna Chamber of Commerce will meet at noon Tuesday at the Riverside House in Soldotna. The speaker will be Rod Pfleiger, the Alaska Coordinator for the North West CruiseShip Association. For more information, call Michelle at 262-9814.

Land Trust holds benefit

The Kachemak Heritage Land Trust will hold a fundraiser called “Homer’s Birding Hotspots” with naturalist Carmen Field from 8:30 to 11 a.m. at various locations around Homer on Saturday. Participants should wear rubber boots, bring binoculars, wear warm clothing and be willing to carpool. The event costs $10 per person, and pre-registration is required by June 2. Shareholders grab dividend

A cash dividend of $25 was approved for First National Bank of Alaska shareholders at the April 27 board of directors meeting.

The dividends are payable June 15 to shareholders on record as of today.
